Our cast is an activist-minded company of artists, brought together to tell these stories to inspire honest dialogue and amplify the continued efforts for racial, class, and labor justice in DC and around the country. Washington, DC is one of the nation’s most diverse metro areas and we are committed to reflecting that diversity, and the intersectional experiences that accompany it, through this production.

Theresa Cunningham has performed at Arena Stage; Round House Theatre; Imagination Stage; Stillpointe Theatre; Compass Rose Theatre; Theatre Alliance; Olney Theatre Center; Riverside Center; Toby’s Dinner Theatre. While living in in Atlanta, Theresa performed at Alliance Theatre; Horizon Theatre; Springer Opera House; Atlanta Lyric Theatre; Aurora Theatre; Synchronicity Theatre. among others. Theresa won the 2013 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, Resident Musical for her portrayal of Sofia in Toby’s Dinner Theatre’s production of The Color Purple.  Theresa studied musical theatre at Syracuse University. Theresa is also a certified leader in InterPlay, a community and play-based body-mind-heart-spirit art form.
Randyn Fullard is thrilled to be getting back to Work In Working, A Musical. Most Recently, You may have seen him strutting In Kinky Boots as Tiffinique His Drag Persona at Toby’s Dinner Theatre. As the theater industry slowly re-emerges, a project like WORKING IN DC is exactly what she hoped for upon returning to the stage and she couldn’t be more grateful. Alyssa is a professional Life and Relationship Coach specializing in ethical non-monogamy and polyamory and she is connected to Equity and SAG-AFTRA. She is looking forward to collaborating with fellow artists after almost a year and a half away, and uniting in the spirit of gratitude and justice, while sharing real people’s stories and celebrating those who kept this country moving during the pandemic.

Alexandra Palting is ebullient to be making her post-pandemic theatrical debut with the team of Working! Favorite DC regional credits include South Pacific at Olney Theatre Center, Anatole: Mouse Magnifique!, Davy Copperfield, and The Princess and the Pauper at Imagination Stage, Alice in Wonderland at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Top Girls at The Keegan Theatre, and staged readings at The Kennedy Center. Out-of-town regional engagements include InterAct Theatre Co. and Shakespeare in Clark Park. Most recently, she has premiered selections from 0874, an original musical she wrote about her grandparents’ love letters written during their migrations to the United States, at Olney Theatre Center’s Just Arts concert series. For more than 30 years Tom has performed on stage in and around Washington DC and across the nation. Highlights include frequent performances at Arena Stage, being directed by Molly Smith or Tazewell Thompson; collaborations with John Kander and Fred Ebb, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt and Adam Gwon at Signature Theatre; and appearing in the world premiere production of Mary Zimmerman’s Candide at both the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and Washington’s Shakespeare Theatre. For four years Tom toured the nation as part of Chamber Theatre of Boston’s acting ensemble. He can be seen or heard in multiple episodes of America’s Most Wanted and House of Cards. Tom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Some of his favorite past credits include: Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds (National Tour) (Ziggy), First Date (Waiter), The Color Purple (Harpo), Ordinary Days (Warren), Parade (Riley), In The Heights (Benny), Sister Act (Sweaty Eddie), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney) and Once On This Island (Papa Ge). He would like to thank his parents, Luke and Barbara Williams for their never ending love and support in both life and his theatrical endeavors.

Emily is overjoyed to make her DC debut in Working. Previously based in New York City, Emily is a professional actress, singer, and recording artist with international experience. She spent two years traveling the world as a lead vocalist with AIDA Cruise Lines, where she performed nightly in major theatrical productions and her own solo cabaret. Additional theatrical credits include Fiddler on the Roof (Weston Playhouse) and White Christmas (Syracuse Stage). Emily earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University.
